How to cook cod from frozen--

  1. Heat large saute pan on medium-high heat or electric skillet to 325 degrees. Add a bit of vegetable or olive oil to lightly coat the bottom of the pan. 
  2. Remove cod from packaging and put in pan, former skin side down. Cover pan with lid. 
  3. Cook for 4 minutes, then add seasoning to taste. 
  4. Cook for a further 6-7 minutes depending on thickness. Do not flip.

  2. Line baking sheet with foil. The skin will stick to the foil. If you choose to eat the salmon skin, skip the foil and simply oil the baking sheet. 
  3. Place salmon skin side down on baking sheet. Place in oven and cook for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and season to taste. 
  4. Return to oven and cook for a further 8-20 minutes, depending on size of salmon. Tail and nape will start to crack and and begin to flake. 
  5. Once done, remove from oven and using a spatula, slide between the flesh and skin, and serve.
